Meeting Objectives:

  • Strengthen relationships among staff within state departments of education who provide leadership in the arenas of school health, health education, physical education/physical activity, and more broadly, the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child approach.
  • Discuss state implementation strategies within Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Plans.
  • Identify needs and share resources related to various components of school health.
