Session Description/Topics: If you wondered how department of education (DOE) staff members can provide support to local school districts regarding sexuality education and engage parents in the process, this session is essential. Learn about print and virtual tools that can help the process. Some of the same tools also may be used for engaging instruction in other health education topics. Consider ways state DOE offices may work with state’s PTA parent health and safety chair(s)/coordinator(s) to strengthen in-person or virtual instruction about health education topics, including sexuality education.
